Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Seattle assignment. The IR Tech will perform scrubbing, patient monitoring, and imaging procedures while following radiation safety standards.

Requirements include 1 year of acute care experience, BLS/ACLS, ARRT (R) certification and state licensure as applicable, with vascular interventional cert preferred. 40 hours weekly, 10-hour days, 18-week duration.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Must have BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) certification and state licensing where required.
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain procedures to patients.
• Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient during all procedures.
• Apply radiation protection standards to protect patient and staff.
• Interpret examination requests knowing anatomy and pathology relevant to IR.
• Operate IV and dye injector pumps as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system for imaging management.
