Job summary

Insomniac is seeking a highly motivated Installer to support the Visual Communications team on festival sites. This on‑site role reports to the Project Manager and involves building displays, installing signage, lighting, and temporary power.

The installer will collaborate with others to ensure installations meet safety and artistic standards. You must be able to lift up to 50 lb, operate power tools, and work long hours in loud environments, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 required.
• Comfortable with power tools and 8 foot ladders.
• Being a team player, possess a positive attitude, able to learn quickly and take direction.
• Heavy machinery certification is a plus but not required. Staff must have a copy of their card when operating.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lb.

Responsibilities

• Frame construction, signage installation, temporary power and lighting setup, and fence scrim installation at festival sites.
• Reports to Team Lead
• Works with urgency and precision
