Trueline's client, a well-established commercial construction firm, is seeking a Superintendent to lead occupied retail and grocery projects in the greater Seattle area. The role emphasizes safety, logistics, and on-site leadership to deliver high-visibility projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial construction supervision, TI/retail experience, and a proven ability to coordinate multiple trades while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent or lead field experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with TI/retail/occupied renovation projects.
• Proven ability to run a jobsite independently and manage subcontractors.
• Strong scheduling, sequencing, and site coordination skills.
• Ability to work in active customer-facing environments with attention to detail.
• Stable work history with minimal job hopping.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations on active construction sites.
• Manage subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics to keep projects on track.
• Oversee work in occupied retail environments with emphasis on cleanliness and safety.
• Coordinate night work and phased construction to minimize disruption.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to plans and specs.
• Communicate progress and issues with Project Managers and stakeholders.
• Maintain jobsite organization, safety, and productivity.
• Support successful project delivery from start to finish.
