Job summary

Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking temporary hospitalists to cover inpatient care at Seattle facilities. Responsibilities include admitting and rounding on a busy inpatient unit, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and collaborating with cardiology and neurosurgery teams to deliver coordinated Kaiser Permanente care.

Applicants must be BE or BC IM/FM Hospitalists, able to obtain WA state medical licensure and DEA; practice will be salaried with prorated compensation based on FTE.

Qualifications

• BE or BC IM/FM Hospitalist is required.
• Ability to obtain WA State Medical License.
• Unrestricted Federal DEA is required or can be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Admitting, rounding and inpatient management across an 18-bed unit.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inpatient care with specialists, nursing and case management.
• Provide consultations in urgent care and ED to improve efficiency and patient flow.
