Four Tiers Contracting in the Greater Seattle area is seeking an experienced drywall installer to hang, tape, mud, and finish drywall on residential remodeling projects. You will work in occupied homes and active remodel environments, producing clean, professional results with minimal supervision.

You should be skilled with measuring, cutting, fitting, textures, patches, and safe, efficient work. This is a full-time role offering steady residential projects and opportunities to mentor teammates

Qualifications

• Professional drywall installation and finishing experience.
• Ability to hang, tape, mud, finish, sand, and texture drywall.
• Experience with new drywall installation and residential repair.
• Ability to create smooth, paint-ready finishes.
• Texture matching experience.
• Detail-oriented and efficient.
• Able to work independently or in a crew.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Within commuting distance of the Greater Seattle area.

Responsibilities

• Hang and install drywall on residential remodeling, renovation, repair, and improvement projects.
• Measure, cut, fit, and fasten drywall accurately.
• Install drywall around windows, doors, corners, ceilings, fixtures, and other obstacles.
• Tape joints and apply joint compound.
• Complete multiple coats of mud for a smooth finish.
• Sand and prepare surfaces for paint.
• Perform drywall patches and repairs.
• Match and apply common residential wall and ceiling textures.
• Blend repaired areas into existing surfaces.
• Identify uneven framing, damaged surfaces, moisture concerns, or other conditions.
• Protect customers' homes, flooring, furniture, and surrounding areas.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Coordinate with carpenters, painters, project leads, and other trades.
• Communicate material needs before delays.
• Maintain company quality standards throughout the drywall process.
