Job summary

Crunchy Tech seeks AV contractor in the Seattle area to support new installations and service calls. The role involves installing and testing audio, video, and control systems across events and venues, with emphasis on Crestron, QSC, BSS, and related equipment.

Applicants should have hands-on experience with AV hardware, software, networking, and operating systems, plus the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in Audio Video hardware, software, networking troubleshooting, and basic to intermediate OS functionality.
• Certifications in Crestron, QSC, BSS, or similar systems are a plus.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission AV equipment per project layouts and drawings (PDF/DWG).
• Troubleshoot and resolve media system issues during installations and service calls.
• Coordinate audio feeds with video/image signals and test end-to-end performance.
• Prepare equipment for shipping, testing, and on-site reconciliation.
• Test, run, and terminate wiring and cables to meet design specifications.
• Ensure equipment is stored properly and kept clean after service.
