Job summary

Bridgewater Interiors II in Bridgewater, United States, is seeking candidates to complete the assembly of automotive seating units and to rotate through production cells to learn multiple work stations.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety and quality standards, stocking areas, monitoring materials, and performing quality inspections. Lifting up to 35 lbs and using handheld pneumatic tools are required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assembly of automotive seating units.
• Develop proficiency in all production job functions.
• Control processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming products.
• Maintain good housekeeping, safety, meet quality and efficiency standards
• Restock work areas as needed to ensure proper work flow
• Monitor production material quantities and report shortages
• Ability to lift and/or carry 35 lbs. repeatedly
• Complete, assembly of quality seating units
• Walk, stand, reach, lift, bend, pull, push to move product through build process
• Use of hand‑held pneumatic tools
• Operation of assembly fixtures
• Housekeeping in and around work areas
• Problem solving of workplace issues
• Quality inspections of work in progress
• Work as part of a team to ensure on‑time quality product to our customers (internal and external)
• Incorporate safe working procedures into all daily activities in and around facility
• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Comply with company rules, policies, and practices
• Understand Statistical Process Control and maintain charting as required
• Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear
