Job summary

Barcel USA LLC is seeking a full-time production associate at the BLU Coppell Plant in Coppell, TX to operate seasoning equipment on the Production Lines following Barcel USA guidelines for safety, quality and efficiency.

You will maintain cleanliness, follow GMPs, assist bagger operators, complete paperwork, and adapt to other process positions as needed while meeting KPI goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to move up to 50 pounds and operate pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Operate seasoning equipment on production lines following safety, quality and efficiency guidelines.
• Follow GMPs, keep work areas clean and organized, and document activities as required.
• Assist bagger operators with scales calibration and product changes.
• Maintain product seasoning within specifications to avoid customer complaints.
• Learn other positions in the Process System as needed and meet KPI goals.
• Report equipment problems or safety issues to the Production Supervisor.

Job Details: Job Location: BLU Coppell Plant - Coppell, TX 75019, Position Type: Full Time, Job Category: Manufacturing, Operating the seasoning equipment on the Production Lines within the specified guidelines to meet safety, efficacy, efficiency, and Quality. Perform other duties required by the Supervisor as necessary in order to produce a consistent product in a timely manner that meets all standards set forth by Barcel USA.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for following all aspects of company safety rules and procedures including helping inform management of any unsafe conditions.
• Follow all working guideline instructed by Barcel USA including the 5's protocol which is based on keeping the working areas clean and organized.
• Must be proactive with people safety.
• Must operate lines according to specified guidelines to limited amount of waste.
• Must keep lines running at specified speeds.
• Must keep product seasoned accordingly in specification to avoid customer complaints.
• Follow standard operating guidelines for seasoning equipment.
• Help the bagger operators in his/her duties: calibrating scales, cleaning scales, changing of products.
• Must be able to complete all paperwork according to Barcel USA requirements.
• Keep work area, tools and supplies clean, organized and sanitary throughout the work shift.
• Learn and be able to perform in all of the other positions associated with the Process System.
• Follow all GMP's and Safety Procedures as outlined by Barcel USA.
• Performs other duties as requested by Group Leader.
• Flexible on work schedule and Overtime as requested.
• Meet the KPI goals set by Management for the line they are responsible for.
• Follow the color code guide in order to prevent cross contamination.
• Should not be allergic to milk, soy, wheat, or eggs.
• other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• All products will be handled with care in the appropriate manner, as outlined in the Barcel USA System in order to minimize loss in the food safety, quality, or appearance of the finished product.
• The Process area and tools will be maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Equipment problems or malfunctions and accidents will be reported immediately to the Production Supervisor.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, climb, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, talk, hear, lift, and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to frequently move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack, and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to work well with the Barcel USA Team.
• Ability to move from one task to another with minimal distraction.
