Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking dependable individuals to join as Seasoning Machine Operators on the Weekend Day Shift. The role offers a fixed 3-day schedule with Friday to Sunday shifts from 5:55 AM to 5:55 PM, supporting a stable, well-known brand.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand English instructions.
• Strong attention to detail when handling machinery and following safety rules.
• Basic computer data entry in D365 or similar systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work from elevated surfaces as needed.
• Prior machine operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor seasoning equipment to ensure product quality.
• Inspect and taste chips to confirm proper seasoning levels.
• Adjust seasoning flow rates as needed.
• Assemble and tear down seasoning equipment at start and end of production runs.
• Track seasoning usage and maintain accurate daily records in D365.
• Safely move skids, boxes, and tubs of product with tow motors and ladders.
• Follow allergen and food safety requirements and complete documentation.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks to keep areas safe for production.
• Work as part of a cross-functional team to keep operations running smoothly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• General knowledge of cleaning food-handling equipment (training provided)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work from elevated surfaces when required
• Comfort working with cleaning chemicals, water, and hoses while wearing all required PPE
• Strong attention to detail when working with machinery and following food safety requirements
• Basic computer skills to enter data in D365 or other systems (training provided)
• Prior machine operating experience preferred
