UTZ Brands, Inc. is expanding its Kings Mountain, NC facility and seeks a Seasoning Machine Operator for a weekday day shift. You will operate seasoning equipment, monitor product quality, and support maintenance and sanitation to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

Job Description

We’ve recently expanded our Kings Mountain, NC facility and are looking to grow our team! As a Seasoning Machine Operator, you’ll help ensure our products are seasoned to perfection while working in a modern, fast-paced environment. Rotating Schedule: Week 1:Monday to Thursday, and Week 2: Monday to Wednesday 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Operate and adjust seasoning equipment to meet product specifications.


• Ensure product quality by monitoring seasoning and troubleshooting equipment.


• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and assist with repairs to keep production moving smoothly.


• Handle sensitive seasoning products (including allergens) carefully and follow all safety protocols to maintain a zero-accident culture.


• Follow safety protocols, including handling sensitive ingredients and allergens.


• Assist with production schedules, communicate with team members, and ensure smooth operations.


• Fill in for other operators when necessary and assist with training new team members as needed.


• Ensure that all areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to company standards and procedures.


• Suggest improvements for processes and production efficiency.

Requirements:

• Experience operating machinery, performing equipment maintenance, and using general mechanical tools (like Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.)


• Familiarity with food safety protocols and lock-out/tag-out procedures.


• Ability to carefully monitor and inspect equipment and production to meet quality standards.


• Able to handle several tasks simultaneously while staying efficient and focused.


• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. as part of regular duties.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills to keep the team well-informed and operations running smoothly.


• Quick thinker who can respond to changes and resolve issues as they arise.
