Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, Inc. in Kings Mountain, NC is hiring a Seasoning Machine Operator for 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 2:00 PM–10:30 PM). You will operate seasoning equipment, monitor quality, perform maintenance, and assist with production schedules.

The role requires collaborative teamwork and strict adherence to safety and allergen protocols. Training new teammates and process improvements are expected. The position offers full-time hours with a comprehensive benefits package and a fast-paced production

Qualifications

• Experience operating seasoning machinery and performing equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with food safety protocols and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Ability to monitor equipment and production quality continuously.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust seasoning equipment to meet product specifications.
• Monitor quality, troubleshoot equipment, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Assist with production schedules and communicate with team for smooth operations.
• Train new team members and fill in for other operators as needed.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment per company standards.
• Suggest process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
