Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Chemistry, or related discipline, or equivalent education/experience.
• 4+ years of experience in food manufacturing, ingredients, seasonings, or flavor.
• Experience developing and applying seasonings to food products, preferably snacks.
• Ability to independently formulate seasoning blends and flavor solutions in lab/benchtop settings.
• Experience translating customer briefs into technically viable solutions.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and work onsite five days a week in Carrollton, TX.

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer-preferred seasoning blends and flavor solutions for snack applications through benchtop product development, culinary insights, technical innovation, and consumer understanding.
• Lead the technical execution of regional and global customer briefs from concept to validation and commercialization.
• Partner with customers to understand technical needs, identify opportunities, and build relationships across functions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and other teams to meet requirements.
• Lead or support strategic category and technology-platform initiatives to strengthen seasoning capabilities and drive innovation.
• Investigate and resolve issues with raw materials, flavor systems, prototype scale-up, and manufacturing processes.
• Deliver cost-effective flavor solutions with clear technical differentiation.
• Provide cross-functional leadership and coordinate with regional/global teams to improve execution and win rates.
• Contribute insights to support business growth, process improvements, and category opportunities.

Where You'll Make a Difference

• Develop consumer-preferred seasoning blends and flavor solutions for snack applications through benchtop product development, culinary insights, technical innovation, and consumer understanding
• Lead the technical execution of regional and global customer briefs, from concept development through validation and commercial implementation
• Partner directly with customers to understand technical needs, identify new opportunities, and build strong relationships across multiple functions and organizational levels
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Global Purchasing, and other technical teams to deliver solutions that meet customer, regulatory, manufacturing, and business requirements
• Lead or support strategic category and technology-platform initiatives that strengthen IFF's seasoning capabilities and accelerate innovation
• Anticipate, investigate, and resolve challenges involving raw materials, flavor systems, finished prototypes, manufacturing processes, and initial scale-up activities
• Deliver cost-effective flavor solutions while creating meaningful technical differentiation and competitive advantage
• Provide cross-functional project leadership and coordinate with regional and global technical teams to improve project execution and customer win rates
• Contribute technical and market insights that support business growth, process improvements, product optimization, and proactive category opportunities

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience
• 4+ years of relevant experience within food manufacturing, food ingredients, seasonings, or the flavor industry
• Demonstrated experience developing and applying seasonings to food products, preferably within snack applications
• Proven ability to independently formulate seasoning blends and flavor solutions through hands-on laboratory and benchtop development
• Experience responding to customer briefs and translating customer needs into commercially viable technical solutions
• Experience supporting proactive category initiatives and evaluating or implementing new technologies
• Strong understanding of raw materials, flavor systems, product development, scale-up, and manufacturing-related problem solving
• Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional, regional, and global stakeholders
• Willingness and ability travel up to 20% and work onsite five days per week in Carrollton, Texas
