Job summary

Jackson Hewitt - 1608 is seeking experienced tax preparers for the upcoming tax season. You will prepare individual, trust, and partnership tax returns and explain outcomes to clients in a busy, team-oriented office. Flexible scheduling is available and performance bonuses are possible.

You will interview clients to gather required information, explain results, and stay current on federal and state tax law changes, with training provided for success in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ seasons of experience preparing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during peak season
• Comfortable using tax software and basic computer applications
• Background in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or taxes is a plus
