Sittercity.com is seeking an experienced nanny in Villanova, PA for two children. The focus will be on the youngest child, with the older child joining after school. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., may extend to 6:00 p.m.

About the Family

This family is looking for a seasoned nanny to help their two children through a change in care. After five wonderful years with a beloved nanny, they are ready to welcome someone who can step in with warmth and confidence.

The older child loves books and trips to the library, and is very into Pixar movies right now. The youngest is a gymnastics enthusiast and a true playground fanatic. Both children enjoy many of the same things, so there will be plenty of shared fun.

Care will focus primarily on the youngest child, with the 5-year-old joining in whenever they are home from school. The ideal nanny is dependable and quick to settle into a new home and find its rhythm. A parent works from home part time in a dedicated private space, so the nanny will have room to lead the day with ease.

Responsibilities

• Full child care
• Child laundry
• Light housekeeping (run/empty dishwasher, tidy common areas, clean up after child meals)

• If nanny is comfortable, accompany the youngest child to swimming lessons (nanny would need to get into the pool)

Compensation

• Pay: $28-30/hour gross
• Paid Vacation: 2 weeks (1 week nanny choice, 1 week coordinated)
