Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Inspector to perform mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic inspections on industrial mission-critical power equipment at client sites and our facilities. The role ensures compliance with company standards, specifications, and codes, including UL and NEC requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; certification in quality-based background.
• 5+ years of Quality experience required – preferably in a manufacturing or industrial construction industry.
• Experience using calibrated inspection and testing tools preferred.
• Experience with CX platforms.
• Knowledge of inspection methods.
• Understanding of the manufacturing industry.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to always ensure a safe workplace.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and designs.
• Accustomed to standing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting, kneeling, and working within tight spaces for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all key inspection points and areas of all components, assemblies, units, and systems of the MCPU.
• Track and document all defects accordingly.
• Communicate with the appropriate personnel to ensure proper follow-ups.
• Coordinate timelines to address issues within target ship dates.
• Update issues and status pertaining to the equipment for the MCPU.
• Must be familiar with UL891, UL1558, UL67, UL508A, NEC, industrial power distribution construction and manufacturing.
• Ensure that quality checklists are completed, as each step is completed.
• Be familiar with basic tools and equipment.
• Verify all controlled documents.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by wearing PPE andcomplying withprocedures, company policies, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
