Job summary

Mr. Handyman of South Essex County is seeking skilled handyman professionals to handle a range of maintenance and repair tasks for home and commercial projects. You’ll work with customers directly, manage expectations, and deliver high-quality results while following the Mr. Handyman Way.

You’ll need extensive hands-on experience, your own tools, and the ability to operate the company van and schedule system. A strong focus on safety, professionalism, and customer service is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years’ experience as a paid handyman.
• Own your own tools.
• Be insurable for driving the company vehicle.
• Complete a background and driving record check.
• Able to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Able to safely work at heights and overhead for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects with varying durations from 2 hours to multiple days.
• Communicate with customers to explain scope of work and manage expectations on costs.
• Deliver a great experience to create life-long, repeat customers and follow the Mr. Handyman process to wow the customer.
