City of Kilgore seeks an Equipment Operator to support street, water, sewer, and public works projects. You will operate trucks and a range of machinery, perform routine maintenance, and assist with traffic control and site safety.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, a Texas driver’s license, and CDL for higher levels; prior field experience is preferred. Must work outdoors in varying weather and lift up to 80 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating construction equipment is preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License; CDL required for higher levels.

Responsabilités

• Operates trucks of various sizes and weights to load, haul, and unload equipment and materials.
• Operates construction equipment such as back-hoe, skid-steer, excavator, and other machinery.
• Performs routine maintenance and reports repairs as needed.
• Assists in traffic control devices installation and site safety.
