Qualifications

• Eligibility considerations for reinstatement and compliance with time-in-grade requirements for federal employment.

Responsibilities

• Detect and question persons suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
• Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance and various assets.
• Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using Government assets.
