Deseret Book Company in Salt Lake City is hiring seasonal warehouse workers for our distribution center. Full-time seasonal roles, first shift 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday with some Saturdays; Sundays off. Starting wage is $17 per hour. Duties include picking, packing, receiving and distributing merchandise, operating warehouse equipment safely, and using our computer systems to ensure accurate orders. This role supports a friendly, fast-paced team in a great work environment.

Formación

• Accurate and detail-oriented with a careful approach to order fulfillment.
• Willing to take and follow directions in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Good manual dexterity for lifting and handling merchandise.
• Basic keyboard and data entry skills for order processing.
• Ability to read and write in English for accurate documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Pick, pack, receive, and distribute merchandise according to labels and orders.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and in line with procedures.
• Use computer systems to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Support shift coverage from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with some Saturdays.

Description

Pick, pack, receive, and distribute merchandise according to shipping labels, invoices, and purchase orders. Safely operate warehouse machinery and utilize computer information systems in accordance with established procedures to ensure quality and accuracy of order fulfillment. First shift (6:30 AM to 3:00 PM). We don't work on Sundays! Individuals hired must be available to work Mondays through Fridays (and some Saturdays) through 1/30/2027.

Required Skills
