Job description

SUMMARY

Working under direct supervision, the Seasonal Warehouse Worker (based upon assigned area) provides manual and clerical support in sorting, processing, and verifying merchandise.

BRC / Packer Responsibilities

• Prepares merchandise for distribution, including checking, inspecting, and logging data into inventory systems to reflect quantity and condition.
• Takes necessary steps to prepare merchandise for inventory and distribution.
• Inspects merchandise visually to determine disposition, as assigned.
• Enters and logs appropriate data into online systems.
• Moves merchandise from one location to another either manually or mechanically.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Order Filler Responsibilities

• Picks "A" merchandise for distribution.
• Moves merchandise manually from one location to another.
• Processes returned merchandise by ticketing, bagging, and binning.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Asset Protection Responsibilities

• Conducts surveillance, observing customers and contractors for theft, fraud, or impending violence.
• Supports shrinkage awareness programs, informing team members of current issues and required actions.
• Maintains accurate records for company and law enforcement.
• Responds to emergencies, including bodily fluid clean‑up, CPR, first‑responder duties, and fire extinguisher operation.
• Maintains facility truck entrance and other entry and exit points.
• Utilizes CCTV system to identify threats related to theft, shrinkage, violence, and operational compliance.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

BRC / Packer / Order Filler Qualifications

• No experience is required; at least six months related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is required; college degree is preferred.

Asset Protection Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required; college degree preferred.
• At least six months of experience in Asset Protection or Auditing is required; one year preferred.

• Familiarity with contemporary merchandise processing equipment such as handheld scanners.
• Ability to learn computer processing systems.

• Ability to determine which prescribed steps to take to process problem cartons.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
