Job summary

UPS is seeking a seasonal supervisor to oversee safety, production, and attendance while training workgroups. This role establishes high standards for accuracy, customer service, organization, and cooperation, and builds strong relationships across all levels of the organization.

The position emphasizes leadership, proactive coaching, and continuous improvement, ensuring employees receive proper orientation and ongoing development to support departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed at all times, in compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy and efficiency.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and continuous improvement.
• Implements personal development plans for department personnel.
