Job summary

UPS in Petaluma, CA is seeking a Seasonal Supervisor to lead safety, production and attendance, and to set high standards for accuracy, customer service and teamwork. You will guide workgroups, drive continuous improvement, and maintain strong relationships across the facility.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, coaching, and performance evaluations, with a focus on safety policy adherence and compliant operation within department, station and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Must lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg).
• Able to work up to 5 days per week with flexible shifts.
• Excellent written and spoken communication required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, in compliance with department, station, corporate and local requirements.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing involvement, communication, cooperation, and continual improvement.
• Implements personal development plans to ensure growth of department personnel.
• Ensures employees receive orientation, training, materials, evaluations, and coaching.
