Job summary

SI Scholastic Inc. is hiring part-time seasonal Warehouse Associates in Sumner, WA area to pack Scholastic book fairs. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–9:00 PM with starting pay of $20.00/hour (base $18.50 + $1.50 second-shift differential for hours past 2 PM).

Responsibilities include packing cases, boxes and displays, assisting with inventory, and processing returns. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a non-air conditioned environment. High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency with minimal errors.
• Strong team player with good communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in packing book fairs and displays according to procedures.
• Meet production, accuracy and quality standards.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
• Assist in inventory resets and material handling.
• Learn scanner functions and replenish pick locations as needed.
• Support order picking and packing of customer reorders.
