The Department of Natural Resources in Olympia, WA is hiring a Warehouse Operator 2 for a full-time seasonal role December 2026 to June 2027. The position supports Webster Forest Nursery operations producing seedlings for reforestation.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, loading and shipping orders, and maintaining accurate seedling inventory in cold storage. Required are forklift experience and basic math skills, plus attention to detail and professional communication.

Responsabilidades

• Safe operation of a 3500–5000 lb forklift and pallet jacks daily.
• Communicate with supervisors and staff to maintain flow of seedlings and inventory; store and organize seedlings in cooler and freezer spaces.
• Assemble and load orders; maintain shipping records.
• Flexible to changing daily demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Point person in warehouse operations in the absence of the Warehouse Lead; take over lead duties during spring transplanting.
