Job summary

S&S Activewear, LLC in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Warehouse Machine Operator for a 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, full-time shift. This role involves retrieving inventory, restocking, operating forklift and related equipment, and ensuring safety and accuracy in daily tasks.

You will follow safety rules, complete inspections, and collaborate with teammates to meet deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Prior warehouse experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to read and speak English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment & machinery (Forklift/Cherry Picker/Reach Truck).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment (Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser, Pallet jack, Scanners, Tablets, WMS).
• Perform daily safety inspections for all equipment used.
• Retrieve inventory from up-stock and floor locations and deliver to designated areas.
• Operate barcode scanner and warehouse software.
• Follow directions of leadership and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

About the Role

The Machine Operator will be responsible for retrieving inventory from both floor locations and up-stock storage for Product Transfers and deliver to the designated area for stocking or shipment. The Restock Driver is required to operate machinery following all safety rules and regulations. NOTE: As a seasonal hire you have a defined employment time period of 90 days from date of hire.

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

$20.60 Monday - Friday (2pm - 10:30pm), Full-Time, Non-Exempt Onsite: Fort Worth, TX

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Operate material handling equipment needed to perform primary role i.e; Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser (Cart), Pallet jack, Scanners, Tablets and Company WMS.
• Perform and complete daily safety inspection check list for all equipment used.
• Maintain productivity minimum requirements CPH, and work with a sense of urgency Retrieve inventory from up-stock and floor locations and deliver to designated areas
• Operate barcode scanner and use warehouse software
• Act professionally and remain focused while working Safely operate all warehouse equipment Follow directions of leadership Perform cleaning activities as required Maintain a safe and clean warehouse Maintain a positive attitude Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Must be 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to read and speak English Must have reliable transportation Ability to follow detailed instructions Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery Must be comfortable using electronic devices Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately Ability to operate warehouse machinery - Forklift/Cherry Picker Driver Experience
• Must be flexible with start and departure time changing Ability to work overtime when needed Ability to work independently without close supervision Responsible for any additional duties assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise. Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines. Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
