Job summary

KOHLS is seeking a Material Handler to prepare, process, and move merchandise safely and efficiently. You will be cross-trained to support multiple departments and handle tasks from receiving to shipping, while maintaining accurate data and high service levels.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety rules, quality, and punctual attendance, with flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as required by the business.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English to understand rules, training, and safety instructions.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to train in at least 2 departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and move merchandise including picking, packing, shipping orders, returns, and loading/unloading trailers.
• Input data to prepare reports.
• Provide high-quality internal and external customer service, communicating with vendors, associates and locations to resolve disputes and review compliance.
• Promote a safe work environment by following OSHA and company safety rules, reporting violations to a supervisor.
• Comply with all company policies and productivity standards.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to dress code requirements.
• Maintain flexibility to work designated shifts and overtime as needed.
