Job summary

Blue Seal Farm & Home, part of the KENT WORLDWIDE family, is hiring a Warehouse Associate for our Litchfield, CT location. This is a seasonal, full-time or part-time role requiring weekend availability, with a generous employee discount.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading feeds and products for commercial and private customers, safely operating a hand truck and forklift, receiving and rotating products, and keeping the warehouse neat and safe.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 55 lbs to a height of 50 inches.
• Demonstrate a consistent track record of employment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Effective communication.
• Willingness to learn and grow.

• Operate hand truck and forklift safely.
• Operate all equipment and vehicle in a safe manner and obey safety rules.
• Receive and accurately load and rotate product.
• Maintain the warehouse and loading areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Report safety concerns while performing essential duties.
• Other duties as assigned by Store Management.
