Job summary

United Parks & Resorts is seeking a wardrobe assistant for a seasonal position at Busch Gardens. You will preset costumes, assist performers, and dress them for shows while performing light sewing repairs and maintaining a large inventory of outfits.

The role requires sewing experience, teamwork, and the ability to handle varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You may be asked to lift, walk extensively, and work indoors and outdoors as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience sewing and clothing alterations is required.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow-up with stage staff.
• Flexibility to work opening, mid-, closing shifts, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Preset a large inventory of costumes daily based on cast schedules.
• Assist show performers with costumes before and after shows.
• Dress performers and perform light sewing repairs.
• Maintain costumes and accessories and hand/machine wash large volumes.
• Receive, sort, and put away laundry/costumes; complete daily paperwork.
• Perform venue procedures including cleaning and inventory; stagehand duties when needed.
• Work with Stage Managers and Supervisors with clear communication.
