Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a creative Visual Merchandiser to present the latest fashion trends by crafting eye-catching in-store aesthetics and ensuring brand standards are upheld across departments.

You will build knowledge of visual merchandising strategies, collaborate with department managers to teach and maintain standards, install window presentations for promotions, and adapt displays to events while maintaining high accuracy and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising and styling with knowledge of current fashion trends and styles.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic construction skills in building and assembly of visual props preferred.
• Ability to use ladders, drills, box knives, and other miscellaneous tools.
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new applications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain knowledge of visual merchandising strategies and current trends.
• Partner with department managers to uphold, teach, and maintain visual standards.
• Support signing and implementation of direction at the highest level with ability to customize for store.
• Install and remove trim/window presentations for store promotional events.
• Support successful execution of the in-store lighting program.
• Hours and schedule vary by week depending on business needs.
