Position Information

• Salary Range: $22.44 - $24.79 (depends on experience)
• Location: Ogden Maintenance Station, 1445 Wall Avenue, Ogden, UT 84044
• Position Type: Seasonal (Schedule TL - Time Limited, At Will). Full-time hours (1 position), On-Call hours (1 position)
• Benefits: No
• Background Check: You must successfully pass a criminal history check
• Drug Test: Pre-employment and random after hire

What You'll Do

• Snow and Ice Removal: Clear state roadways using snowplows, graders, blowers, and specialized heavy equipment.
• Roadway Maintenance: Repair traffic signs, fences, guardrails, and other critical roadway features.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate, inspect, and maintain CDL-restricted vehicles, tools, and heavy equipment.
• Emergency Response: Assist with urgent roadway issues and storm response as needed.

Key Requirements

• Valid CDL: Must possess a current Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) upon hire.
• Response Time: Ability to respond to the Ogden Maintenance Station within 30 minutes.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work nights, be on-call, and respond promptly during severe weather and winter storms.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
