US National Park Service seeks a Traffic Control Aid to mitigate traffic congestion and assist in directing visitors within California park areas. You will help manage parking and provide current information on conditions and access to facilities.

Qualifications

• At least one full year of general experience comparable to GS-03 in clerical/office work enabling traffic control duties.
• Two years of education above high school (60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours) in any field; transcripts required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted with transcripts.
• Volunteer experience accepted and credit given for relevant service.

Responsabilités

• Mitigate and manage traffic congestion and visitor flow.
• Provide information to visitors and directions as needed.
• Control parking around emergency scenes and assist in scene management.
