Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Retail Sales Specialist (Seasonal) in California to engage customers, understand their needs, and provide expert guidance on Meta products and other tech solutions. You will train and certify to stay current on promotions, while contributing to a memorable shopping experience in-store.

This temporary role runs October 2026 through January 2027, offering opportunities for future roles within Best Buy.

Qualifications

• Premium tech solution experience is preferred.
• At least 1 year working with consumer electronics.
• Must be able to engage with customers and understand needs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in your department to support the customer experience, complete transactions, drive profitable growth and achieve sales goals
• Use skills learned from training to engage with customers, provide them with complete solutions and create positive experiences
• Use available tools to stay current on promotional initiatives and help drive profitable growth
• Generate future opportunities by discovering customers’ current and long-term tech needs
• Embrace our learning culture to continuously improve existing skills while acquiring new ones
• Maintain specified department merchandising and organization
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work successfully as part of a team
