Job summary

2020 Companies is partnering with Meta to place a part-time Seasonal Meta Sales Specialist at Best Buy in Gurnee, IL. You will demonstrate Meta products in-store, engage shoppers, and train store teams on new AI apps and features.

The role offers a flexible schedule with Friday to Sunday shifts and a chance to grow within the program. Bonuses are tied to attendance, KPIs, and sales performance, with training provided remotely and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecommunications, or marketing preferred.
• Interest in Technology, Wearable AI, and/or Virtual Reality technology preferred.
• Comfortable engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and confidently asking for the sale.
• Customer-first mindset and strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work weekends and at least three weekday shifts.
• Smartphone required: iPhone 11, Samsung S25 or newer.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, grasp, lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Bring Meta technology to life through hands-on demonstrations of wearable AI, smart tech, and immersive experiences.
• Proactively engage shoppers and create a welcoming, personalized experience.
• Create memorable customer experiences that leave shoppers with a positive impression of Meta and its products.
• Demonstrate key product features and benefits based on each customer’s interests and needs.
• Guide customers through the full experience, from initial engagement and product demonstration through confidently asking for the sale.
• Keep displays organized, products demo-ready, and the retail experience aligned with Meta brand standards.
• Build strong relationships with store teams and keep them informed about current products, features, and promotions.
• Track demonstrations, customer engagement, and sales activity toward individual and program performance goals.
• Stay current on product launches, software updates, and emerging technology.
