Job summary

Best Buy in New York is seeking a part-time Seasonal Retail Sales Associate to be the face of Best Buy for customers in-store. You will learn to recommend the right tech products and services to meet each person’s needs, while delivering friendly, personalized service.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, demonstrating products, handling cashier duties, maintaining the floor, and supporting in-store pickup. A flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or another fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner.
• Perform product demos, answer questions and make recommendations across departments.
• Complete cashier duties for purchases, returns and exchanges.
• Maintain knowledge through ongoing learning and development.
• Help keep the sales floor clean and well stocked.
• Assist with in-store pickup and curbside pickup orders.
