Job summary

Best Buy Co. is seeking a part-time Seasonal Retail Sales Associate in Poughkeepsie, NY. You’ll be the face of Best Buy for customers in-store, learning to confidently recommend tech products and services to meet individual needs.

You’ll welcome customers, perform demos, handle cashier duties, and participate in ongoing training. You’ll help keep the floor stocked and assist with in-store and curbside pickups.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or another fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner.
• Perform product demos, answer questions and make recommendations that meet customers’ needs across all departments.
• Complete cashier duties for purchases, returns and exchanges.
• Maintain appropriate knowledge and expertise through ongoing learning and development.
• Help keep the sales floor clean and well stocked.
• Assist with in-store pickup and curbside pickup orders.
