Job summary

Savant Wealth Management is seeking a Seasonal Tax Reviewer to support our clients through tax season. You will review individual (1040) and fiduciary returns at the federal and state levels and assist with more complex preparations. The role offers in-office work, with compensation based on an hourly rate and market conditions.

You’ll join an experienced team, performing tax analyses, researching issues as needed, and contributing to timely delivery of final tax returns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or finance from an accredited college or university.
• Prior experience in a CPA firm with 3 - 7 years of tax preparation and review.
• Active CPA or EA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review individual and fiduciary income tax returns for federal and state levels.
• May review some corporate and partnership tax returns.
• May prepare intermediate to complex tax returns.
• Research tax issues as needed.
• Prepare tax analysis and calculations related to tax adjustments for tax returns and tax estimates.
• Assist with special projects and assignments on an as needed basis.
• Assist with the delivery of the final tax return product to clients.
• Perform other duties as requested.
• Maintain team approach by assisting and filling in for others when necessary.
