Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with numerical accuracy.
• Familiarity with W-2, 1099, 1040 forms preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Add up W-2s, 1099s, and other forms and verify income and tax withholding match the return.
• Make copies of the return and forms for client and files.
• Assemble the client packet with return, forms, amount owed, payment vouchers, and instructions for IRS and others.
• Flag discrepancies for the data entry staff to review.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client information.
