H&R Block (Corporate Owned) is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations. You will prepare accurate returns, interview clients, and provide personalized recommendations with guidance on tax savings.

In a collaborative office, you’ll use leading training and technology to support client relationships and growth. This in-person role offers an hourly rate, an incentive plan, and ongoing opportunities to develop tax expertise and serve clients

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
