Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must complete continuing education and IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and life changes.
• Provide clear, personalized tax recommendations and savings opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships and promote H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, notices and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team and maintain a positive, client-focused office
