H&R Block is hiring a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to guide clients through complex tax situations with confidence. You will prepare accurate returns, uncover savings opportunities, and build lasting client relationships using training and technology.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements; high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and tax implications.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance.
• Collaborate with team and contribute to a positive office environment.
