Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field.
• Ability to interview clients to assess tax situations and provide recommendations.
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• In-person client service at a local H&R Block office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide tax savings opportunities and product recommendations.
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
