Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional in Kentucky to prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses and interview clients to tailor recommendations. You’ll help clients maximize savings and deliver empathetic, consultative service with access to industry-leading training and technology.

The role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office and offers an hourly rate with an incentive plan based on impact and tax expertise growth.

Qualifications

Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain tax concepts clearly.
Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
