H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional in Sherwood, AR to prepare accurate returns and advise clients on tax opportunities. You will conduct client interviews and leverage our training and technology to deliver confident results in a supportive, in-person office setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of tax experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation experience, including individual and business returns.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• Successful completion of tax knowledge assessment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and implications and provide recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships with empathetic, consultative service and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment.
