You’ll provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed, participate in a collaborative team environment, and leverage industry-leading training and technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping; incl. individual and business returns.
• Client-facing, consultative advisory experience.
• Explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.
• Complete continuing education and IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations, including individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications; provide personalized recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and related H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team and contribute to a positive office environment.
