Qualifications

• Completion of HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
• 1 year of tax prep/Accounting/Finance experience incl. individual and business returns
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and life changes
• Provide personalized recommendations and uncover tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notices, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment
