H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations. You will interview clients, offer personalized recommendations, and help with tax savings opportunities and relevant H&R Block products.

The role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office, with training and an incentive plan, aiming to build tax expertise and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Pass the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• At least 1 year of tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations (individual and business).
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and H&R Block products.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
