H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to join a local tax office in Montana.

You will prepare complete, accurate returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients to assess tax situations, and offer personalized recommendations while building trusted relationships. This in-person role includes competitive hourly pay, ongoing training, and an incentive plan tied to impact.

Qualifications

Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including individual and business returns.
Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsabilités

Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations.
Conduct client interviews to understand finances and tax implications; provide personalized recommendations.
Build trusted client relationships; identify tax savings opportunities and related H&R Block products.
Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
Collaborate with team; contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment.
