Qualifications

• . Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment 1
• . Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• . Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles
• . Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly
• . Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• . High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notices, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive client-focused office environment
