Job summary

Liberty Tax Service is seeking a seasonal Tax Preparer to join our Managed Operations team in Chesapeake, VA. You will prepare individual and small business tax returns, interview clients, and ensure accuracy and compliance with current tax laws.

This role emphasizes client service, attention to detail, and ongoing professional development. Training is provided, PTIN is required or eligible to obtain one; you will collaborate with office staff and senior staff to ensure timely, accurate filings

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Must have PTIN or eligible to receive.

Responsibilities
