Job summary

Jackson Hewitt in Omaha is seeking a Seasonal Entry Level Tax Preparer to conduct one-on-one tax interviews, build a client base, and provide outstanding service during tax season.

You will complete multiyear and multistate forms, file returns electronically, and offer IRS audit support as part of a comprehensive training program. Flexible schedules are available; this is not a remote role.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer literacy and math skills.
• Sales or marketing experience is a plus.
• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or tax preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Provide clients with IRS audit support and e-file returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Complete all related tax forms in accordance with policies and regulations.
